Intro

Pigment removal is an essential part of skin care . As the skin gets older, it loses its elasticity and pigment is deposited on its surface. Laser technology has existed for many years, but it hasn’t had a major impact on this subcontinent due to lack of provider supplies. We tend to think of “seeing” as a reflection from the objects around us. This is not always the case. In fact, there are many colors and hues that we can’t see. The way that you see is dependent on your innate perception of color. Some colors only reflect light in specific wavelengths, while others are near-infrared or ultraviolet.

What’s more, these wavelengths aren’t always emitted by all objects — some emit infrared and UV light that are invisible to the naked eye.

As a result, what you perceive as white isn’t white; it may be a particular color of visible light that may look similar to white.

The issue here isn’t whether you can see it, but how you perceive it. While we don’t have an innate capacity for color vision, there are ways to stimulate our inner visual cortex to help us understand and produce colors more accurately than we could do on our own .

A few decades ago this was fairly easy — if you exposed a photograph of an object with its red color at full intensity (brightness) on one side and its blue color at full intensity (brightness) on the other side, then if someone asked you which color was from each side (red from bright light and blue from dim light), then you would have an accurate understanding of what the object looked like under these conditions .

But now things have changed — even though humans can look at photos with both red (brightness) and blue (dimness), they often don’t make out the differences between them once they get into dark rooms because their eyes adapt to compensate for this difference in brightness. This means that photos taken in dim environments won’t show any changes in colors unless they are exposed directly to bright lights or direct sunlight .


For white light photography , exposure times should be between 1/2500th second – 1/30th second at ISO400 using a shutter speed of 1/25th second – 1/10th second at ISO800 using a shutter speed of 1/15th second – 1/8th second at ISO1600 using a shutter speed of 1/5th second – 1/2nd second at ISO3200 using a shutter speed of 1/15th second – 1/2nd second at ISO6400 using a shutter speed of 1/4th seconds -1/2 seconds -1 /4 seconds -1

What is Pigmentation?

Laser hair removal is the best laser treatment for pigmentation that removes the dark spots from the skin. However, if you have very dark skin, it’s also a good idea to use a tanning bed with other permanent lighteners and peels.

A pigment can be one or more colors. The term ‘colors’ is used for groups of colors that have a similar appearance when viewed under different wavelengths of light (see image below).

There are four main types of coloration in skin:

  • Melanin pigmentation (brown)

  • Sclerae (white) melanin pigment (yellow)

  • Vitreous humor (white) vitreous humor pigment-related eye coloration (blue)

  • Clearance pigment (white) Clearance pigment-related eye coloration

  1. Melanin Pigment – brown/black + red = brown/black + red = brown/ black + red = brown/black + red

  2. Sclerae - white + pink = white + pink = white + pink

  3. Vitreous humor - white - blue = white - blue

  4. Clearance - white - yellow

  5. Clearance Pigment - blue - yellow

  6. Clearances: White hair on face or head skin coloration on face and body

Removing Pigmentation with laser treatment
